LAMITEX OFFICIALLY STARTS ITS SUSTAINABILITY PROJECT

Combining research into eco-sustainable industrial technologies and aesthetic creativity to innovate the furniture, furnishing and interior design sector is the mission that has always guided Lamitex. We are therefore very happy to inform you that we have officially started our journey towards the creation of our first Sustainability Report, which is expected to be finalized by 2022. An approach to the themes of the 2030 Agenda which, thanks to the integration of human resources within its strategy, had the merit of aligning the entire corporate ecosystem to the values ​​of sustainable development.

LAMITEX OBTAINS THE ELITE CERTIFICATION

In the pursue of its ambitious growth goals, Lamitex has now set another important milestone and joined the restricted number of companies that have obtained the pretigious ELITE certification. This international network groups only SMEs considered excellent on the basis of a solid business model and a clear expansion strategy, which thanks to this qualities have had access to a program created by Borsa Italiana and London Stock Exchange to accelerate their development. Lamitex will thus be able to take advantage of a wide range of business opportunities, fund raising and sharing of experiences aimed at encouraging rapid growth in turnover and margins, with positive repercussions for the territory and the relative employment opportunities.

DUTCH DESIGN WEEK

Lamitex sponsor of Isola Design District during Dutch Design Week 2020

A new important event for Lamitex on the international design scene: after the successful collaboration with Isola Open Studios during the Milano Design City that has just ended, the company will be once again among the key figures, this time in the virtual event “Materialized”, an exhibition organized by Isola Design District during the Dutch Design Week, which will be held in digital format from 17th to 25th October 2020. “Materialized” exhibition will take us through a path in research projects on biomaterials and innovative sustainable furnishings. Like the current and future trends are clearly showing, the design of the future will be increasingly oriented towards the reduction of waste and plastics: a statement that matches perfectly with Lamitex’ vision and milestones.


In this occasion, Lamitex aims to attract and involve art directors, architects and designers from all over the world through a captivating challenge: at the end of the talk with Tommaso D’Olivo, Lamitex’ Brand Image & New Trend Manager, a contest will be launched with the aim of arousing new stimuli and ideas for the interpretation of their materials, through the realization of a creative proposal that can best express the unique characteristics of Lamitex decorative laminates. Participants will be required will to submit a design idea that best represents the combination of environmental sustainability and the beauty of decorative surfaces, offering new aesthetic contents capable of instantly transmitting the intrinsic values of Lamitex’ laminates.

ISOLA OPEN STUDIOS

28th September – 10th October 2020

A new important partnership for Lamitex will be sealed at the Milano Design City event: in fact, our company will start its cooperation with Isola Design District and become the main sponsor of Isola Open Studios, an event focused on important values like innovation, sustainability and creativity, which both Lamitex and the capital city of design “made in Italy” share in common.


Isola Open Studios is an event that involves local artisans, galleries and design studios, where visitors will be welcomed in their workplaces to take a look at their latest projects. But that’s not all: during the event, visitors can take part to product presentations, talks and workshops, both live and in streaming.

INNOVATION AND SUSTAINABILITY
