[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]Italian Legislative Decree 231\/01 introduced the administrative responsibility of Companies for a series of crimes committed on their behalf or benefit by subjects that are organisationally tied to them. The Decree orders the applicability towards the Company of administrative penalties – financial penalties, interdictive penalties, confiscation or publication of the judgement – which can have serious repercussions on the performance of the company activity.<\/p>\n

The provision of Italian Legislative Decree 231\/01 exclude the administrative responsibility of the Company if it has adopted and effectively implemented a Model of Organisation, Management and Control suitable for preventing the commission of crimes and has entrusted the duty of supervision on its operation and on its compliance to a Supervisory Body. To this end, the Board of Directors of Lamitex S.p.A. has adopted, following analysis of the entire corporate organisational structure and its own internal control system, its own Model of Organisation, Management and Control binding for all the subject who, in various capacities, maintain professional relations and business relationships with the Company; furthermore, as provided by the Decree, the Company has established the Supervisory Body with the function of controlling the aforementioned Model.<\/p>\n

The adoption of the Organisational Model and the establishment of the Supervisory Body, meets the requirement for Lamitex S.p.A. to always focus on its own improvement, so that it can implement its own structured and suitable system for preventing the risk of the occurrence of any form of irregularity in the performance of its activity, thereby limiting the danger of committing crimes and guaranteeing the correctness and transparency of its activity. It is the primary interest of Lamitex S.p.A. that all those who maintain professional relations and business relationships with the Company conduct their activity in compliance with the principles and values contained in the Code of Ethics.<\/p>\n
